On the court

This post is a break from Tasmania, although I will probably have a couple more posts about it in the future.

I just had to express my excitement at getting back in the game ... volleyball, that is. I haven't played more than about 3 pick-up games since high school, so I was a bit nervous when I said I'd join a woman's team with some co-workers. But, I was very excited to play again. Now that we've had a couple games, I'm feeling good about it. It's a lot of fun, and I'm finding myself remembering techniques that I learned years ago. It's slightly frightening that when I step onto the court, I can almost hear my high school coach telling me what to do again.
