Christmas way early
I don't actually have Christmas decorations up yet, but I did get out my tree last weekend. I did so with one thing in mind -- acclimating the cats to it. I was hoping that if I put it up early and let them get used to it without lights or ornaments, that I could AT LEAST have a lighted Christmas tree up for the season. So far so good. It's a small tree (5 1/2 feet tall, but skinny), and they've mostly left it alone. They tend to chew on the lower branches, but nothing too horrible. I might actually have Christmas decorations up this year!

I remember how impressed I was that Mo avoided my xmas tree for a whole week, until that one night at 3 a.m. when out of nowhere he decided to climb it and it fell over.
