The cats passed the first holiday decoration test, so Sunday I finished decorating the apartment. I still kept decorations to a minimum, as I don't completely trust them. But I decided they would just have to learn to leave some decorations alone.
I also gave them their Christmas present in hopes they would stay busy with it instead of chewing on the tree and garland. (It's a toy box. You put balls and small toys in it; then the cats push them around and try to get them out.)
