Ready to work

We had two designers leave work in the last week. (Both had gotten jobs elsewhere.) And a third one has a baby coming in the near future. As a result, I will be working some overtime shifts in the coming month. That's less time for excitement and topics for writing.

Calming kitten?
Griffin is almost 6 months old now. I can't say he's grown much calmer yet, but everyone says it will happen eventually. He likes to carry his toys around from room to room (especially his stuffed bear or a squishy ball). He also has an unfortunate fascination with the kitchen counter, though he's getting slightly beter about not jumping up there. At the moment, he's asleep on my lap -- one of the rare times he's very easy to deal with. I have some new pictures from weeks ago, but I still have to take them off my camera.

Peter Pan
I saw "Peter Pan" at the Muny last night. I wasn't overly excited about the show in the first place, and it didn't go far beyond my expectations. It was cute and entertaining, but "Peter Pan" just doesn't match up to some of the other shows. I'm really excited to see "The Pajama Game" next weekend. I just read an article that said they're using Fosse's original choreography for "Steam Heat." I can't wait!
