While I was in Herrin, Nolen turned 2. We celebrated with a luau party. Despite some big rainstorms, we had a great time.
While Nolen played with his new toys Kevin and Pete attempted to put together a wooden kitchen he had received. In the end, it was a three-beer job.
Nolen likes to line up his cars and trucks.
Later that night, we set up the car ramps that I gave him for his birthday. He seemed to like it.

Hehe...I have to laugh at the 3 beer job! Sounds like when my dad and your dad used to work on projects! : )
Looks like he got some cool toys for his birthday! It will be interesting having a boy this time and learning the ropes of "boy" toys versus girl toys. Although with two sisters, my little boy may be doomed to play Barbies and be dressed up!
