A prettier bed!

I've been wanting to get a duvet cover for about a year or two. I thought it was a good idea to have a removable cover I could wash regularly to remove cat hair. (In the meantime, I had purchased a fleece blanket, which covered my comforter most of the time for this purpose.)

For Christmas, my parents gave me some money to buy one (as opposed to buying one that I would have to cart back on the plane). So I came home with a new duvet cover, down comforter, pillow shams, bed skirt. Yea, I went a little crazy. But now my bed looks much better, and it's much more comfortable with all those pillows. A good place to read a book. (Or fall asleep, which is what I did last night when I tried to read a book.)

Griffin and Loki appeared scared of the change at first. Finally I set them on the bed, and they calmed down a bit. Soon, they were both stretched out and sleeping, so it must be OK for them. The only problem is that Loki seems to think the buttons on my decorative pillow should be eaten, so I keep having to turn around the pillow to hide the buttons from him.
