Look, I'm updating this

Before I hear from family and friends about not updating my blog ... here's a post. I've been working. I've been hanging out with friends some. I've been trying to control a crazy, unruly kitten. That's my life in a nutshell.

For those of you who still don't have enough (I know who you are since I hear about it when I don't write anything here), read on:

What I've done lately:
- saw "Much Ado about Nothing" at the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival. It was good. And Melanie came, so I saw her as a bonus.
- played my last sand volleyball game of the session. My work schedule is changing, so I won't be able to play much anymore.
- saw "Ocean's 13." It was pretty good, especially for the third in the group.

What's coming up:
- some types of fun on Saturday (when I'm not working). The exact activities are still to be determined.
- the first of this year's shows, Oklahoma, is at the Muny on Sunday. (I have season tickets.)

What's next?
I'm soliciting suggestions for cheap, drivable, short vacations from St. Louis. I want to take a road trip. I'd like it to last no more than 4-5 days. (It might not happen till August or later, depending when I can get time off work.) And it cannot cost very much money. (I'm a sucker for historical sites, gimmicks ... anything I haven't seen before.)
