Journalist down

I just found out one of the metro columnists at my former paper was fired. Sylvester Brown Jr. tells his side of the story here. I haven't seen any comments from the paper yet.

Did you see the comments on the P-D's "statement"? My goodness, there's a lot of hate.

(I haven't been at work for a week, so I have no idea what's really going on either.)
