While I was in Herrin, Nolen wasn't quite able to walk on his own. He would hold onto cabinets or couches and walk along, but his preferred method of mobility was crawling — very fast. (I hear he's now able to take a few steps from couch to table when he really wants to get somewhere.)
Nolen was also on his way off baby food and onto all solids. He was pretty good about eating, but better when his grandpa wasn't around to distract him.
Nolen really liked "reading" his animal book with textures.
My mom had recently put his old chair (where he used to eat) on the ground in exchange for the new highchair they bought. Nolen liked to climb in and out of the chair over and over.
See more pictures of Nolen here.
