The overload of information and time-consuming properties of the Internet have taken over my life recently.
I'm still not sold on the usefulness of Twittter.
An article I saw recently has reinforced my feelings that Twitter would end up just wasting my time.
Other forms of social media (mainly Facebook, but also MySpace and others) already take up a large chunk of my time. If you're suspicious of social media's time consumption or wonder if it would fit into your life at all, you might want to check out this article, which looks at whether "real people" have time to spend on social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc.).
On the topic of minimal time and the Internet, I thought this article about web content conservation was interesting. It talks about recycling web content (something I'm attempting to do with this post) as opposed to creating new web "trash."
