Barbecue chicken and garlic potato sticks

I've found some of my best recipes from other blogs lately, so in the spirit of giving instead of just taking, I'm thinking of posting more of the everyday recipes I make on here. The kicker, of course, is that I'll rarely be up to the task of typing in a recipe, so you'll mostly see those that have links.

Luckily, the Post-Dispatch has a great recipe archive, and many of my recipes are from there. Of course, mine are the yellowed newspaper clippings from a few years ago. But the digital version should taste the same.

So, in that spirit, I'm sharing the incredibly easy oven-baked barbecue chicken recipe I've made a lot in the past year or two from the Post-Dispatch. This is seriously easy (I think you could skip the browning of the chicken if you wanted) and has a great sweet, honey barbecue flavor. It's also really moist.

Also, for the first time tonight I tried these garlic-roasted potato sticks. They were also very simple to make. And tasty, though not as good as my rosemary garlic potatoes.

And I finished off the meal with chocolate mousse (left over from the cupcakes) and strawberries. A pretty decent Monday night.

To update last night's post, I ate one of the cupcakes as I was cooking tonight to tide myself over. They were pretty delicious. And filling enough that I went from starving to being able to wait for my chicken to cook an hour!
