Baked doughnut holes

This morning I tried this recipe from Frugal Girl for baked doughnut holes. I really love the cinnamon and sugar coated doughnuts made in a deep fryer from biscuit dough, but I don't have a deep fryer (and don't need one), and I haven't attempted to make them on the oven.  This recipe isn't exactly the same but it must be somewhat healthier (not from the ingredients but from the lack of frying) and is quite tasty. It's also very easy and uses ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. You could call them muffins if that sounds healthier.

I'm bringing the leftovers to wine club tonight. (No, I can't eat 36 doughnut holes in one day.)

I saw that recipe on her site this past week and wanted to try it! I'm glad they were good! I was thinking about making them tomorrow for Andrew and West! Now I'll definitely give it a try! :) And besides...it doesn't use yeast...so I'm not scared of it! haha!
